A plumbing team that values doing it once, and doing it right

AquaShield Solutions was founded in 2014 by two brothers tired of cowboy callouts in Petaling Jaya. Eleven years later, we are a 14-strong crew serving homeowners, condo strata committees, and small F&B operators across the Klang Valley.

Our origin

From a single van in PJ to three depots across the Klang Valley

Brothers Faizal and Khairul started AquaShield in 2014 with one second-hand Hilux and a folder of business cards photocopied at a print shop in SS2. The first six months were almost entirely after-hours work — taking calls that established plumbing companies wouldn’t touch at midnight.

What grew the business was not advertising. It was the simple discipline of finishing a job before quoting the next one. Word travelled through housing committees, then property managers, then through condo strata WhatsApp groups across the Klang Valley.

Today, our workshop sits in Brickfields, with satellite depots in Damansara Utama and Subang Jaya. Each depot stocks the parts our vans use every day, so we restock between jobs instead of returning to base.

Three principles that shape every callout

Diagnose before quoting

We do not give a number until we understand the problem on site. Five minutes of careful looking saves both parties an entire revisit.

Quote in writing

Verbal numbers turn into disputes. Every job leaves the assessment stage with an itemised quote — on paper or on WhatsApp.

Test in front of you

Every repair ends with a flow, pressure, or pond test that you witness. If we cannot demonstrate it works, we have not finished.

Who actually shows up at your door

No outsourced day labour, no rotating subcontractors. Every technician on this list has been with AquaShield for at least two years and is on a full-time payroll.

Faizal Hamzah

Co-founder · Lead technician

Faizal handles the trickiest first-fit pipework jobs and runs the apprentice training programme. SPAN-licensed since 2009.

Khairul Hamzah

Co-founder · Operations

Khairul runs dispatch, schedules every job, and is the voice on the other end of the hotline more often than not.

Daniel Ravichandran

Senior renovation lead

Daniel runs the bathroom and kitchen remodel projects end-to-end, including waterproofing supervision and tile setting.

Wei Sheng Chong

CCTV & diagnostics

Wei Sheng owns our pipe-camera rig and writes the inspection reports that often turn up in insurance and strata claims.

Aisyah Khalid

Client coordinator

Aisyah is the first point of contact for non-emergency requests. She holds the calendar that keeps every visit on time.
